September 3, 2025KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Clark Logic hosted a groundbreaking ceremony on Wednesday, September 3, celebrating the start of construction on its newest industrial development – a 153,000-square-foot speculative facility at 7190 Beatrice Drive, just off I-94, Exit 72 in Kalamazoo. Designed with modern logistics and flexible industrial use in mind, the building will feature 32-foot clear heights, 12 loading docks, and two overhead doors, providing adaptable space for a wide range of manufacturing and distribution tenants. Wolverine Building Group is serving as the general contractor for the project, with AR Engineering providing engineering services and Horizon Bank supporting project financing. This latest investment builds on Clark Logic’s ongoing commitment to regional economic development and the creation of high-quality industrial space that attracts and retains businesses. The 153,000-square-foot speculative building is expected to be completed in 2026, offering modern capacity for new tenants seeking proximity to I-94 and Kalamazoo’s growing industrial corridor. The space, which can be subdivided into two 76,500-square-foot suites, will provide an opportunity for either one or two local manufacturing or distribution companies. It will neighbor two existing Clark Logic properties. One is a 120,000-square-foot distribution center at 5383 International Drive that is leased to a local logistics firm. The other is a 32,000-square-foot space at 6935 Beatrice Drive, utilized by Goodyear. “The site was just perfect, and it was right for our toolbox,” said owner and president, Jamie Clark. “It works for our business model, the synergy, being in Kalamazoo, the industrial planning.”
Since 2022, Clark Logic has delivered over 2 million square feet of new industrial space, renovated 2.5 million square feet, and has another 2.5 million under development-helping meet critical warehousing and distribution demand across West Michigan.
